The course “Erasmus+ Project Design and Management for Schools: KA1 and KA2” has been designed to provide an in-depth understanding of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program 2021-2027 within the school context. It aims to help participants develop the necessary skills for designing and managing individual mobility projects and cooperation partnerships. This course is intended for teachers at all levels who wish to become Erasmus+ project managers and enable colleagues and students to undertake study trips abroad funded by the European Union.

Duration: 5 days (Monday to Friday) or 6 days (Monday to Saturday)

PROGRAMMA:

Course Objectives: Within the two modules you will have the opportunity to achieve the following objectives:

Module 1: KA1 – Short-Term Mobility

  • Understand the Erasmus+ program 2021-2027, with a focus on Key Actions 1 and 2.
  • Familiarize yourself with the opportunities offered by Erasmus+ for individual mobilities in the school sector (KA1).
  • Get acquainted with the logical framework matrix used in proposal design.
  • Learn to conduct a needs analysis and set goals for a KA1 project.
  • Identify the target group and define the necessary activities for the KA1 project.
  • Acquire techniques for monitoring and measuring the impact of a KA1 project.

Module 2: KA2 – Cooperation Partnerships

  • Deepen the understanding of the Erasmus+ program 2021-2027, with a focus on KA2.
  • Explore the specifics of cooperation partnerships in the school sector (KA2).
  • Identify complementary partners for KA2 projects.
  • Acquire skills in proposal writing for KA2 projects.
  • Collaborate effectively in writing a KA2 project, even in a group setting.

Course Structure: The course will be conducted in person at Accademia Clivis, via G. Botero 18, Rome, over the course of 5 days from Monday to Friday, with the option for participants to engage in an optional cultural program on Saturday. Each session will last two hours.

Course Fee: €500

The additional Saturday cultural activities are designed to enhance the overall learning experience, providing participants with the opportunity to explore the rich cultural offerings of Rome.
